The Vestry has set a target date of July 19 for resumption of church services. This date is tentative at this point, since we have to meet certain metric established by the Bishop (14 consecutive days of declining COVID 19 cases in the county, for example) along with submitting a plan for the safe resumption of services to Bishop Kendrick.
The Vestry and a subcommittee created by the Vestry are pouring over the nine-pages of guidelines associated with resuming services. They will be reviewing the procedures and will be making plans for the implementation of the Bishop’s guidelines (subject to the approval of the Vestry and the Bishop). Number of services and the times of those services, maximum attendance, and methods of assuring a healthy environment will be included in the planning process.
The Vestry will be in touch as soon as important decisions are made. The congregation will be kept fully informed of plans and guidelines.
Meanwhile, we are monitoring local developments to ascertain a declining level of contagion.
