Saint Paul's Foley

Saint Paul's Foley is a ministering community rooted in the tradition of the Episcopal Church. Our parish family welcomes all people with open arms. Our Mission is to reach up in worship, reach in to serve, and reach out in love to the glory of Jesus Christ.

Saint Paul's has been blessed to serve God and His people in Foley for over 90 years; and with God's help, we look forward to many, many more successful years of ministry, fellowship, worship and joy.

New Ministry Celebration and Blessing of the Backpacks on

August 8th

Two wonderful events will be happening on Sunday, August 8th.

#1 - Pastor Brent's First Sunday - Join us as we welcome Pastor Brent and Cindy to Saint Paul's. Pastor Brent will preach and celebrate at both services and there will be a reception following the 10:00 a.m. service.

This is also a great time for you to update your information the church directory as well so that Pastor Brent has the most up-to-date information on our parish. Please contact Ben Linder for assistance.

#2 Blessing of The Backpacks - Be sure to bring your backpack, briefcase, or lesson plans as there will be a blessing for these items and prayers for students and staff for the start of school at the 10:00 a.m. service.

We hope you will join us in person or online as we offer blessings on Pastor Brent's new ministry and for all those returning to school this fall.

Sunday SerViceS & LIVESTREAM

Worship Update:  Mask Mandate

On Wednesday, July 28th, due to the recent surge in COVID cases and the highly contagious nature of the Delta variant, Bishop Russell re-issued a diocesan mandate, asking the diocese to return to wearing masks during worship.

St. Paul's will comply with the bishop's guidance and resume wearing masks at any indoor services or gatherings (including Coffee Hour). Other ways we are mitigating risks are:

Returning to receiving communion in one kind (bread only).

Tracking of attendance at all services to facilitate contact tracing, should it become necessary.

Saint Paul's offers two In-Person Worship services each Sunday, now with both services being livestreamed.

Services are offered at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. as well as livestreamed on the Saint Paul's Facebook Page.

The Order of Service - Sunday, August 1st, 2021

Some key details for the service:

  • Reservations for services are no longer required
  • The limit of participants has been removed
  • We encourage those who are immuno-compromised or that have not been vaccinated to continue wearing masks, but masks are no long required.
  • Communion will continue to one kind (bread only)
